The 'Congost'

The 'Congost'

Nou Congost is the "house" of Bàsquet Manresa since it was inaugurated in 1992. Our pavilion has experienced incredible moments, such as the achievement of the league in 1998. Several elements make the Nou Congost a unique field.

The Arena

It was inaugurated in September 1992, with the celebration of the XIII edition of the Catalan League. The installation took over from the old "Congost" that had been obsolete and did not meet the regulations of the ACB League. It has a capacity for 5,000 spectators and is the headquarters and administrative center of the Bàsquet Manresa. It has press booths, located in the upper part of the grandstand of the box, with capacity to work up to 30 media, a space enabled as a press room, and a VIP area in the forecourt. On the other hand, from the Bàsquet Manresa SAE and the Fomento del Baloncesto Foundation, the strengthening of the Manresa Basketball Museum is being worked on, in the space below the other stand of the Pavilion.

The old "Congost" had been inaugurated in 1968 on the occasion of the club's promotion to the first division. Currently, this facility hosts the training and matches of many of the base teams of the entity. Prior to this pavilion, the club played its matches on an outdoor track located next to the Pujolet football field.
