This Wednesday at 20:30, BAXI Manresa visits La Laguna to play another Basketball Champions League play-off. It is the second consecutive season that the Manresans are among the 8 best in the continental competition and face the knockout without excessive pressure but with the desire to put the opponent against the ropes: Lenovo Tenerife.

The BAXI Manresa expedition leaves this Tuesday at noon again in the direction of the Canary Islands. Second trip to Tenerife in a week, now to play in the BCL tie. Pedro Martínez has all the available players and will have to decide who is left out of the final 'roster'.

The current champion of the competition is Lenovo Tenerife, one of Manresa's last rivals in the league. A squad with big stars, experience and a lot of talent to solve the matches. Txus Vidorreta's team, led by Marcelinho Huertas and Giorgi Shermadini, is a team with great quality and many experienced players such as Doornekamp, Salin, Guerra, Fitipaldo, or the latest addition: Leandro Bolmaro.

They have appeared before leaving Babatunde Olumuyiwa, Dani Garcia and Juampi Vaulet. The pivot from Sierra Leone said that "the team is fine, I think in a good moment; now important matches are coming and we are ready; we have to play consistently for 40 minutes, if we do what we have prepared for the 40 minutes I would say we have options». For his part, Garcia said that "Tenerife is a rival that has a team and plays very well, very dynamic; it's complicated, but last week's match should help us to know how to play against them; if we win, it will be an extraordinary victory; we always try to think only about the next game, we face it in one of the best moments of the season, if not the best». Vaulet, in front of the media, argued that «I think we are in the best moment of the season and we must take advantage of it; we have shown that if we play like the first part of the other day we can have options; it's a play-off, a definitive match and therefore it's very important».
