The official season begins for BAXI Manresa
The first duel of the Catalan League is this Wednesday at 20:30 against Joventut, in Tarragona.
BAXI Manresa will start tomorrow in Tarragona a renewed Catalan League, with a different format. The promotion of Hiopos Lleida to the Endesa League brings to six the teams of the Catalan Federation to the highest state competition, which means that the League will be played with a format of two groups of three teams, with the best of each one qualifying for the grand final.
Diego Ocampo's team will debut tomorrow at 20:30 against Joventut, while on Thursday they will play against the team from Lleida at 18:30. The team from Manresa still has some players out who will not be able to play in the match.
The team from Badalona, directed by Dani Miret, have a fairly renewed squad: they have made six additions, five of them with experience in the Endesa League. Among them is the Hungarian Adam Hanga, who played for Bàsquet Manresa from 2011 to 2013.
