BAXI Manresa continued to grow strong at the Nou Congost, where they defeated the German team NINERS Chemnitz in the third round of the Basketball Champions League (105-59).
The start of the match was marked by equality between both teams. However, in the middle of the first quarter, the locals, with the debutant Massa in the starting five, stepped on the accelerator and scored fifteen consecutive points to close the period with a clear lead of 26-11.
In the second quarter, the players directed by Diego Ocampo continued to dominate their rival and reached a 24-point lead (40-16). The Germans then reacted and chained together several consecutive actions to reduce the margin to 44-31 at half-time.
