BAXI Manresa added the second victory in two games of the Catalan Lliga after beating Hiopos Lleida in Tarragona (85-93). Thanks to this result, Bages' team qualified for the final of the Catalan League, which they will play against the champion of the other group, made up of Barça, MoraBanc Andorra and Bàsquet Girona.

Diego Ocampo's players started the match playing hard and scored a 0-7 run. However, the team from Lleida reacted immediately and began to dominate the game. Thanks to this, they were able to come back and take a 23-18 lead at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Gerard Encuentra's team continued to play well and widened the gap to ten points (28-18). Meanwhile, the Manresans, led by Saint-Supéry, were unable to get close on the scoreboard until the final minutes, when they were just two points behind at half-time (42-40).

Coming back from the locker room, the Bages team continued with the good feelings from the end of the first half and quickly took control of the scoreboard thanks to their great offensive productivity. At the end of the third quarter, BAXI Manresa was leading by ten points (60 -70).

In the last ten minutes, Ocampo's players maintained the lead, but the team from Lleida did not give up and scored nine consecutive points to get within just two points (76-78). However, the team from Manresa were solid and did not let the victory and their place in the final slip away.
