BAXI Manresa started 2025 with a new away victory, this time on the Río Breogán court (79-88) in a match in which they dominated from the beginning.
The players led by Diego Ocampo made a great start, especially in defence, nailing an initial partial of 0-10. This allowed them to dominate the scoreboard at all times and close the first quarter with a six-point lead (17-23).
In the second period, the visitors continued to be in tune and widened the difference to 17 points, which forced the local coach to stop the game (19-36). The time-out worked, as the Galicians subsequently scored nine consecutive points. However, the Bages team did not lose control of the game and reached the break with a six-point lead (36-42).
Coming back from the locker room, Breogán remained close on the scoreboard, but the Manresans did not get nervous and widened their lead thanks to their success in outside shooting. At the end of the third quarter, the visitors had the game well underway (52-64).
In the last ten minutes the tone was very similar. The locals tried to get closer on the scoreboard and put fear into the Bages team, but they remained strong from long distance and did not suffer too much to add the seventh victory of the season in the Endesa League.
On Saturday from 18:00 BAXI Manresa will host Dani Garcia's UCAM Murcia at the Nou Congost.
