
An erratic finish condemns BAXI Manresa in Granada
Bages' team ended up losing 86-80 in a match in which they led for most of the time. A poor final quarter allowed the home side to come back.

BAXI Manresa was unable to maintain its good run of results and fell on Covirán Granada's court in a match in which they led until the final quarter, when the Andalusians came back (86-80).
The start of the match was very even, with both teams exchanging baskets and the lead. Immediately after, the visitors, with their excellent three-point shooting, took a 0-9 run and closed the first quarter with an eight-point lead (18-26).
In the second quarter, the Manresa team had some difficult moments, and the Andalusians took advantage to get within a single point (29-30). From there, a Bages team, led by Hunt, reacted and opened up a new lead. At halftime, Diego Ocampo's team led by eight points (38-46).
Coming out of the locker room, the visitors came out strongly and reached a maximum lead of thirteen points (45-58). Granada counterattacked and closed the gap to just five points (56-61). At the end of the third quarter, the Manresa team had the match well in hand (60-68).
In the final ten minutes, the home side scored ten consecutive points and tied the game (70-70). From then on, the Andalusians were more in tune and took a much-needed win.
On Saturday, starting at 8:45 p.m., BAXI Manresa will host Río Breogán, led by Luis Casimiro and Jordan Sakho, at the Nou Congost.
