BAXI Manresa achieved their third consecutive victory after winning the Catalan derby against Bàsquet Girona at the Nou Congost in a duel they dominated from the start (95-84).

After an initial exchange of baskets, the Reds, led by Hunt, took control of the scoreboard and enjoyed a nine-point lead (18-9). Traoré made his debut at the Nou Congost, and the home side closed out the first quarter with an eight-point lead (28-20).

In the second period, Diego Ocampo's men continued to dominate, now with an outstanding Alston Jr., who scored twelve consecutive points against his father, who was present at the Nou Congost. At halftime, the Manresa side led by nine points (52-43).

Coming out of the locker room, the tone didn't change much. The Bages team maintained a comfortable lead and didn't allow the visitors to get dangerously close. At the end of the third quarter, the Reds led by eight points (70-62).

In the final ten minutes, the home side came out determined to put the game to bed, posting a 10-0 run that put them nineteen points ahead (85-66). The Girona team staged a small comeback, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Bages team from winning their sixteenth game in the Endesa League.

On Saturday, starting at 4:30 PM, BAXI Manresa will visit Covirán Granada, which is headed by Sergi García, Elias Valtonen, and Pere Tomàs.
