BAXI Manresa beat Menorca and will play tomorrow against Gran Canaria

BAXI Manresa made good predictions and won easily against Hestia Menorca in the second semi-final of the Ciutat de Maó tournament (72-100). After a first quarter favorable to the hosts, from the second the Bages team was superior and did not have too many problems to win. Tomorrow at 20:30, match against Gran Canaria with the title at stake.
The hosts started the match better and went on a 15-4 opening run, which forced Pedro Martínez to call a timeout. Then, the Bages team reacted and with a 0-7 they were only four points behind. The islanders escaped again by taking advantage of two technical fouls, one on Pedro Martínez and the other on the bench, before the Manresa team scored six points in a row to close the first quarter with only a four point disadvantage in the electronic game (24-20).
In the second, the players led by Pedro Martínez were superior to their rival and turned the score upside down. Once they achieved this, they did not stop and, thanks to four three-pointers scored in this period, they obtained a ten-point difference at the half (37-47).
Returning from the locker room, BAXI Manresa continued to open a hole in the scoreboard and, thanks to a partial 0-12, broke a game that was already decided at the end of the third quarter (51-78). Ladji Coulibaly made his debut in this stretch, with a three-pointer included.
In the last ten minutes there was not much history, and the Bages team was able to distribute minutes between all their players without seeing the result in jeopardy at any time.
