Bàsquet Manresa holds its annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders
The club will try to minimize the effects of the Covid-19 in a 2020-2021 season in which spending will increase slightly and will have to fight to generate new revenue.
Bàsquet Manresa held its annual general meeting of shareholders, in which the accounts for the 2019-2020 season were approved and the planned budget for 2020-2021 was presented.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, the club had financial difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, but nevertheless managed to close it to close the year with a profit of more than 4,000 euros, specifically 4,384. The final income was 2.87 million euros and the expenses, 2.86 million. This was possible thanks to several decisions, one of the most decisive was the agreement with the players in order to implement a salary adjustment.
For 2020-2021, the entity has budgeted an expenditure of 2.9 million euros, while currently has a guaranteed income of 2.4 million. The club works in different ways in order to increase them, and thus minimize possible losses.
