BAXI Manresa visits the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital i Ampans on the 'solidarity morning'
The BAXI Manresa players went on to distribute gifts among the children of the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital of the Althaia Foundation and held a workshop at the Center Ocupacional l'Art de Viure de Ampans.
This Wednesday, despite being the day after a match, the BAXI Manresa players have been making visits in what is called the "solidarity morning" of the Christmas holidays. A group of players has been at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital of the Althaia Foundation, handing out gifts to the children admitted, while the other half of the squad has carried out a workshop at the l'Art de Viure occupational centre of the Ampans Foundation.
Six players have arrived at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, led by captain Guillem Jou and with Derrick Alston Jr., Santi Vescovi, Marcis Steinbergs, Bodian Massa and Retin Obasohan. The first thing they have visited is the Mental Health Hospitalisation Unit for Children and Adolescents and later they have finished by visiting the children admitted to the Pediatric Unit. The visit has ended with a family photo with all the staff on the ward.
On the other hand, there have been 6 players who have carried out a workshop in Ampans. They were Dani Pérez, Mario Saint-Supéry, Cameron Hunt, Alex Reyes, Musa Sagnia and Emanuel Cate. They went to the "l'Art de Viure" Occupational Centre of the Ampans Foundation, where they did a painting workshop with the users and took pictures of each other. Afterwards, they had a photo with all of them and thanked each other for the visit.
